Overview
Numerous states as well as a few cities have passed statutes similar to the Federal False Claims Act. These statutes allow private citizens to file suit based on fraud against state and local entities. To view a particular statute, click on the corresponding link below. Please note that although we endeavor to keep this section as up to date as possible, the dynamic nature of the qui tam field means that amendments or additional laws may have been passed recently.
